They are wooden sweet bowls. I believe they are about 70 years old. I think they were used on special occasions. The gold painted patterns, such as the pinks, have no peeling and are relatively clean. However, there are some scratches on the inside. Also, on all the bowls, there is some paint peeling on the lid handles and the foot of the bowl, revealing the wood underneath, which was noticeable, so I have touched them up with a black marker.
