This is a commemorative medal from the 1964 Tokyo Olympics. The case is sturdy, but the exterior is peeling and dirty. I'm not sure what the medal is made of, but it doesn't seem to be a valuable material like gold or silver. It may be plated. I believe it originally came with an instruction manual, but it's missing. There's a slight dullness on the back of the medal, which may not be visible in the photos. There is red staining on the side. Upon close inspection, there may be small scratches, but the medal itself doesn't appear to have any major scratches or stains. The size is approximately 6 cm in diameter and 4 mm thick. The weight is approximately 86g. It seems difficult to remove the medal once it's perfectly fitted into the case, so I will put it in an envelope and send it with the case.
