Greco, a JB-style Stratocaster type from 1979. This Greco is from around the 80s, made by Fuji Stringed Instrument Manufacturing, and is very popular. I think it's right in the middle of the category known as Japan Vintage guitars. I really like Grecos and Tokais from this period, and I've owned many, but my personal best year is '79. I feel that there are many good guitars from this time, when domestic copy models were at their peak. This model is a "J" model, designed with Jeff Beck in mind. The three distinctive mini-switches allow for a variety of sound variations. The electrical system is working fine, and there are no crackles, so it's in good condition. The neck, truss rod, nut, and frets are in good condition. The fret edges have some slight lifting of the paint due to slight wear on the fingerboard, but I haven't touched it because removing the burrs would peel off the paint. I don't think it's noticeable when playing normally. It retains the original frets, and there are almost no playing marks, so it's in good condition. There are some paint chips, sun fading, and scratches, but overall, it's a fairly clean example. The tuning pegs have some variation in torque, but they work fine! The string height is set to a typical value of 1.5~2.0mm, and it plays well without any buzzing. A rare, good-condition vintage Greco! And it's a JB-style SE600J. We hope you will consider it.
