This is a visually appealing incense case with chrysanthemum and paulownia carvings in mulberry wood. It has a written inscription and signature (kaō) by Masu Takeida, the 7th head priest of Kennin-ji Temple. There are no noticeable scratches or stains, and the condition is good. The original box also appears to be in good condition, with only slight discoloration.
