There are no noticeable stains or scratches on the prayer beads, tassels, or prayer bead case. However, upon close inspection of the black beads, small, dot-like marks can be seen on the surface. The material is unknown. The black beads may be ebony, but I'm not sure, so I don't know for sure. They have a luster.
