This is the flesh side of Chromexcel leather from Horween, a long-established American tannery. Chromexcel leather is a type of oil leather, also known as pull-up leather, which is heavily infused with oil. Since this is the flesh side, the pull-up effect of the oil moving isn't visible, but it's still a hefty leather packed with oil. I've been stocking this unique and atmospheric leather, but I'm releasing it due to workshop renovations. Thickness is approximately 1.5-2.0mm. There may be scratches, markings, and wrinkles. It's a great deal as a generous scrap set, so why not stock up?
