The orange pair is corduroy, with a front opening and hook closure, and the waist is adjustable with elastic. The black pair has an elastic waist and is soft and easy to wear. Both were easy to match with other clothes and were cute. I don't see any particularly large scratches or stains, but these are used items, so please purchase only if you understand.
