I am listing this on behalf of my mother-in-law, who I live with. This is a komon (small pattern) kimono with a tsujigahana (tie-dye) design. It's a komon with an all-over pattern that can be worn like a dress. The slightly muted pink is accented with light blue, and the gradations of ocher and purple create a fantastical world, a feminine, sweet, and graceful tsujigahana. This is a piece that allows you to feel the joy of wearing a kimono. It was custom-made at Masuiwaya in Osaka city. The beautiful colors and texture of the tie-dye make it comfortable to wear without any stress. The matching Western-style fukuro obi (formal obi) was chosen to complement this tsujigahana. In addition to the fukuro obi, woven Nagoya obi (casual obi) and yusoku-moyo obi (obi with traditional patterns) also go well with it. White or blue tones will give a transparent look. Black is also lovely. The tie-dye komon is warm, light, and above all, soft and drapes well on the body. Stains are also not noticeable. I think it would be suitable for parties and wedding guests. There is a feeling of wear on the sleeves, and a slight stain on the lining. Also, as anyone who wears kimonos knows, the hem inevitably gets frayed. There are two areas of fraying. Please understand that this is a used item.
