I've been tinkering with DIY solutions ever since I bought the YDS-120, and I've finally created something I'm really happy with. It solves the problem of accidentally getting sheet music wet or noticing a wet spot without realizing it. I use it by folding a tissue and putting it inside. This is the second generation of my spit stopper, an improvement on the first. I've increased the contact area for better hold. It fits the loose, square-tapered shape of the YDS-120.
