This is a Nanako-nuri jubako (tiered food box) that I borrowed several years ago because the number of people gathered was large, and my home's jubako wasn't enough. Tsugaru-nuri Karato is common in this area, but Nanako-nuri is a higher-grade item. It's 6 sun (approximately 18 cm) and the list price is about 280,000 yen. I've only used it once, so I've listed it as "Like New," but the paper box is dirty. Jubako are usually 6.5 sun (19.7cm), but this one is slightly smaller. Also, the depth is slightly shorter than the front. There is a slight "scratch" visible on the bottom of the box.
