There is almost no hydrolysis. If you've used TC Helicon products for a long time or have purchased them used, you've likely experienced the stickiness caused by hydrolysis. This product has undergone regular maintenance, and there is absolutely no hydrolysis on the surface and underside of the top panel. It has a smooth, dry feel. In one area, around the side knobs, the printing can be erased if cleaned too much, so it hasn't been cleaned much, and there is a slight stickiness from hydrolysis. The "MAX" text on the gain knob has almost disappeared, and the "MIN" text is barely visible. The headphone mark on the headphone jack has almost disappeared. Only this area is slightly sticky (see image 4). The rest of the unit is smooth, so you should be able to transport, remove, and set it up without any stress.
