My mother purchased this from an import goods store about 30 years ago, and it has been displayed on our display shelf ever since. It appears to be an eye mask-shaped decoration that can be hung on a wall, etc. It is made of ceramic. I am selling it to organize and declutter. Please only purchase if you understand that this is a pre-owned item that has been stored by a non-professional. Please judge the condition from the photos. There is no peeling on the gold parts, but there are areas that look like scratches. I cannot determine if this was from the beginning, so please understand this. There is blackening on the back. There are no cracks, and in my opinion, it is in fairly good condition for its age. I think it is a rare item. I have cleaned it as best I could, but please forgive any fingerprints on the glossy parts (gold). Please refrain from purchasing if you are a perfectionist or if you are looking for a perfect item. Please understand that we cannot guarantee any initial defects in the product's manufacturing. I am unfamiliar with this type of item, so I cannot answer detailed questions.
