Although it's called brown striped, this is the tortoise shell pattern that symbolizes Pelikan, and this vintage is considered rare. Also, the Pelikan logo currently features one chick, but this is the final model with two chicks. Ink writing has been confirmed, but the remaining ink level is unknown.
