This is a large reel, suitable for #7-8 lines, which is unusual for the Birmingham style. It's an original AMPEX AD, the initial model from "Kilo World" in Kyoto. It's made in Japan from machined aluminum and is only available with a right-hand retrieve. It shows some signs of use, with minor scratches on the reel foot, but no major damage. The diameter is approximately 80mm, and the spool width is approximately 24mm. The original box is missing, so it will come with a leather pouch.
