This is a Fujinon 38mm f/2.8 lens, originally from an old Fuji film camera, that has been modified for a SONY NEX-E mount. The mount is made of plastic from a mock lens and has a locking mechanism. The mount doesn't feel loose; it has a certain amount of torque, allowing for a secure fit. The aperture is fixed and cannot be adjusted. Focusing is from 0.9m to infinity (♾️) as indicated on the lens barrel, and has been adjusted to achieve infinity focus. When viewed with a penlight, the lens is quite clean, but some very minor dust particles can be seen. Photos taken with a SONY α7II, using the color STD setting and without any correction, are included at the end. The very last photo was taken with a close-up lens attached. These were intentionally shot in backlight to showcase the lens's characteristics. As expected from a Fujinon lens, the image quality is excellent. As this lens becomes a 57mm lens when used on an APS-C sensor, it functions as a classic standard lens, and you might enjoy the bokeh at its maximum aperture. For shooting, the camera settings were set to aperture priority and allowed shutter release. A metal hood & filter and a rear lens cap are included.
