This is a 2008 black Patagonia Regulator Jacket. The official name is M's R4 Jacket. Model number is STY36101F8. 2008 Size M. Polartec fleece. Rare and highly sought-after black color. The drawcord is often missing on these, but this one has the drawcord intact. There is little wear and tear, with no elbow wear or fraying at the cuffs. ----------------------- The Regulator series has been available from Patagonia since 2001, with four grades based on intended use. This is the R4, which boasts the highest level of warmth. Patagonia outsources the fleece for this series only to Polartec. It offers more insulation than Synchilla and can block the wind. The sleeves are designed to keep the wrists warm, and are made long. The drawcord at the hem also blocks wind, and allows for a shorter fit for fashion. It's rare to find a black one in this condition. This model is no longer made, so if you've been looking for one, don't miss out.
