I love fabric and have a lot of it, so I tried making a simplified obi (pre-tied obi). No obi-dome (obi clasp) or obi decorations are included. I made this with the idea of making it easy to wear (^-^) To make wearing kimono less constricting and difficult! If it can be made more casual and fun, that's what I'm aiming for (*^^*) This is made by a beginner with amateur ideas ^^; Please consider it a casual item♪ It's made with a 3-part construction: otaiko (back piece), do (waist piece), and tesaki (front piece). I've used new fabric and applied a thick interfacing, finishing with obi core. When making it, I selected fabrics that won't bleed when ironed with a spray bottle. However, depending on the color, there may be color transfer with prolonged wear, rain, or sweat. Please be careful with expensive garments or items that cannot be washed at home. It will be delivered folded small. Also, if the interfacing lifts after wearing, please press it with a pressing cloth at medium heat. ☆Otaiko part: Length approx. 95cm, width approx. 30cm ☆Do-maki part: Length approx. 183cm, width approx. 15~15.5cm ☆Tesaki part: Length approx. 42cm, long There is a weaving flaw on the top of the checkered pattern side of the otaiko, but it will be hidden. The do-maki part was made once and I thought it was too short, so I connected the fabric to make it longer.
