Starbucks Reserve Roastery JIMOTO Made+ Hagi Mug "Usuzakura" (Pale Cherry Blossom) 355ml A limited-edition mug created in collaboration between Starbucks and "Hagiyaki・Hagitoen," a pottery studio in Hagi City, Yamaguchi Prefecture. The pale cherry blossom color and the gradation of the glaze create a beautiful finish. Hagiyaki is a type of pottery from Hagi City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, with a history of over 400 years. It is fired slowly at a low temperature, resulting in less shrinkage and a soft, earthy texture, making it lightweight and excellent at retaining heat. Another characteristic is the "kirikouda" (cut foot), which is a cut made in the foot of the mug (see photo 6). The rounded shape allows you to enjoy the aroma of coffee. Each piece is handmade, so no two are exactly alike, a true "once-in-a-lifetime" encounter with Hagiyaki... We hope it will find its way into the hands of someone who loves it. We will ship anonymously and with careful packaging for peace of mind.
