They are not mizuhiki (decorative paper string), so while the thread is flexible, it has some thickness. Please be careful as the foil may wrinkle if you tie it tightly or bend it sharply. These threads use pure silver-pressed foil, and the price has increased slightly due to the rise in silver prices.
