The "Crown V" mark (crown + "V" + laurel wreath + "JAPAN") is a representative backstamp used by Nippon Toki Kaisha (later Noritake) * for export tableware. The approximate era is from the late 1920s to around the 1950s, due to the "JAPAN" inscription. Fine crazing (crackle pattern) in the glaze is also often seen in pre-war to early post-war Western tableware. Size is approximate.
