Thank you for viewing. This is a forged Fukuro Nagasa made by Yoneda Hamono, measuring 1 shaku (approximately 30 cm). It's a special make, a valuable Fukuro Nagasa not even listed on the Yoneda Hamono website. The thickness is about 1 cm, so I think it will split firewood with ease. I sharpened it with a whetstone, but it has only been used indoors, so it's in overall good condition. The scabbard, made of Akita cedar, is also a wonderful piece.
