This is a Hawaiian koa solid top soprano ukulele. It has a characteristically bright and crisp tone, with a relatively long sustain. Depending on how you play it, it can also produce a melancholic tone. The strings were nylon when I got it, but I've replaced them with ORCAS black fluorocarbon strings.
