This is originally a silk obi (sash). The woven pattern is gorgeous, but it was difficult to tie, so I had a kimono shop convert it into a two-piece obi. The otaiko (back) part is a double layer. It's very convenient. ☆ There are creases from being folded and wrinkles from being tied, and it shows signs of use, but I think there are no noticeable stains or scratches. There are stains on the white string used to tie around the waist (see images 10-12).
