Since ancient times, this pattern has been cherished as a very auspicious design symbolizing "prosperity of descendants" and "family safety." The deep gos-color (indigo blue) dyeing blends surprisingly well with both Japanese and modern dining tables. Unlike the typical 5-piece set, this is a very rare large-family/guest-ready configuration. * Rice bowls: 8 * Small plates: 10 The rice bowls are a comfortable size that fits well in the hand.
