When the box is opened, there is a red and white tasseled cord inside, so I assume the box was tied with the cord... ◆ The color is somewhere between vermilion and madder red, and the gold brocade pattern is eye-catching. (The color appears brighter in the photos; in reality, it's a bit more muted and subdued.) ◆ The material has fine ridges, so is it Shiose (silk crepe) or silk?
