[How to Make Salt Mounds] ・Fill the octagonal cone mold with Kami-shio (salt) to the brim. (Image 4) Make sure the salt reaches the tip of the mold, but don't pack it too tightly. If you pack it too tightly, the salt will not come out of the mold. ・Place the mold filled with Kami-shio on a plate and tap the plate to release the salt. If it doesn't come out easily, shake it up and down gently on the plate, and it should fall out cleanly.
