This is a bowl from Okuhara Glassworks, the workshop of Masao Momohara, a leading figure in the recycled glass art of Okinawa. It's 16cm in diameter and 10cm high, the perfect size for a salad. My parents were big fans of Mr. Momohara and collected his work for about 50 years. Mr. Momohara passed away in 2011, and my parents have also passed away, so I am now organizing their collection. This piece doesn't have a maker's mark, but its warm form and color suggest it was made by one of the members of the workshop from that era. For those who are looking for it.
