NYC Reissue Big Muff (V9) Early Model EC3003-A board, equipped with 2n5088 transistors. This is a version manufactured shortly after the famous Chicken Knob specification used by John Frusciante, and it has almost the same circuit. From this version, the footswitch became true bypass, making it practical. This unit has a tone that leans slightly towards distortion, making it easy to attack and play. I've played many of these versions, and this is a highly recommended unit. ◉ The exterior is in near-new condition, but there are traces of manganese battery leakage inside. The leakage occurred from the bottom of the battery, but miraculously, the battery snap was undamaged. This is located around the bottom of the footswitch and near the battery holder on the back cover. Please check photos 7-11. Also, a Japanese Ele-Hamo sticker is affixed to the bottom, but it's facing the wrong way. This is a charming point of this unit (lol). It is equipped with the same type of transistors used in the later Rams Head, and it produces a tone that is different from the recent Muff models. No scratchiness. Operation has been confirmed with both battery and adapter. Fully cleaned. Includes a Japanese Ele-Hamo warranty card and a valuable wooden box!
