Souvenir from Nozawa Onsen, Shinshu: a dove cart and a horse.
It seems they were purchased as souvenirs from Shinshu during the Showa era.
There is no original box.
They were found in the storehouse during a decluttering of the family home.
Currently, the dove cart no longer has anyone to take over its production, and it seems production has stopped.

The horse's tail has a straw-like material at the tip that is designed to come off.
(It seems the horse was purchased at the same time, but I don't know the details, but it seems to be a lucky charm for festivals.)
The condition is considered to be a general used item.
One part of the dove cart's tail is bent.
In my amateur opinion, it looks clean for an old item, but there are individual differences in how it is perceived.
Please refrain from purchasing if you prefer new items or are looking for perfection.
For those who like used items from ordinary homes, old items, items from the past, items from that time, and folk toys, please consider.
It will fit in a Yu-Packet Plus box, so I will use Mirra-Mat and newspaper to ensure safe delivery and ship via Yu-Packet Plus.

The local toy "Dove Cart (Hatoguruma)" from Nozawa Onsen, Shinshu, is a long-selling product.
Currently, there is no successor to take over production, and unfortunately, production has stopped.
In the past, there were many Akebi vines around Nozawa Onsen Village, and folk crafts were made using those vines.
The dove cart was originally made from Akebi vines, but due to the shortage and rise in price of raw materials, it came to be made from rattan vines.
Therefore, it is white when newly made, and the color changes to a渋い飴色 (shibu-ameiro - a deep amber color) over time, increasing its flavor.
There are even customers who prefer the display items that have changed color over the pure white stock items.
