This is a Kawai musical xylophone. I bought it as a toy for my 2-year-old child. They were playing with it by hitting it randomly, so there are strike marks not only in the middle but also on the top and bottom. The mallets seem to be slightly bent. It may be difficult to see, but please check the images for the above. It still produces beautiful tones for all the notes, so it's perfect for children who like xylophones. I will wrap the box in bubble wrap and attach the shipping label to it before sending.
