Since 2005, based in Tokyo, she has been performing violin and string arrangements as support for various artists. In August 2009, she slowly began her solo activities with instrumental music she composed herself. This, her first album, features many luxurious musicians who are active on the live scene with her. The songs are original compositions by Mekaru and guitarist Hiroomi Shidara. While primarily instrumental, it also includes three songs featuring guest vocalists. The guest vocalists are Talie (harmonic hammock) and Hiroki Oshiba. Each performs one solo song and one duet.
