I purchased this item but never used it, and it has been in storage. It's a belay device called "Gigi" made by the Italian climbing equipment manufacturer, KONG. This device is used for securing ropes in climbing and mountaineering. The "KN 22" marking indicates the strength of the device, meaning it can withstand a force of 22 kN (kilonewtons). Also included is a Black Diamond figure-eight descender. Please refrain from purchasing if you are sensitive to items that have been stored at home.
