The size is US 8.5E, which corresponds to approximately 26.5cm. WESCO is famous for its wide range of custom orders, but this particular boot is made of "vegetable tan" leather, which has already been discontinued and is considered sacred by some. It's made of leather similar to nubuck, so it's prone to staining and aging, but it's also a difficult leather to care for. It would get dirty quickly with the hard use expected of engineer boots, making it a leather that you could "grow into and love," which is exactly what people who love it appreciate. The rarity and price of this leather increased, and it was removed from the lineup, which is a shame... The strap part is also a dull gold color, a truly unbeatable combination. The insole is also a genuine WESCO leather insole. To be honest, the seller is too frugal and felt it was too wasteful, so after putting in this insole, the boots have only been kept with shoe trees and have never been worn. Therefore, I don't know how the insole feels... but it cost around 4,000 yen when new, so I think it's not bad. I brushed the boots weekly to remove dust, and once a year, I carefully maintained them with aniline calf cream and delicate cream, even on the back of the straps. I also maintained them in the same way before listing them, and cleaned them, including the insole. I bought them used in good condition about 4 years ago, and I've only worn them 2 or 3 times since then. It's not that I wasn't satisfied, but as mentioned above, the seller's frugality and the perfect condition made them a complete collection for display. I haven't even put my foot in them for the last 3 years. What a waste... Handmade boots are increasing in price year by year, so please consider them while you can get them. As you can see in the images, the soles still have plenty of life left, so you can wear them right away when they arrive.
