This is an Okutsu tenor saxophone mouthpiece, a size 7 Traditional. It's a mouthpiece famous for being used by Toshio Miki, who reportedly owns several due to concerns about breakage. He said that finding this mouthpiece meant he no longer needed to search for vintage mouthpieces. Unfortunately, Mr. Okutsu's health has recently declined, and he has suspended taking reservations. There's no prospect of resuming them, making this mouthpiece extremely rare now. Those looking for one should purchase it quickly. Although it's used, it's in excellent condition with no tooth marks because a patch was used. I've played the tenor saxophone for many years, but I've had to give it up due to neck pain, possibly from age-related deterioration.
