I used this once for my daughter's Shichi-Go-San (a traditional Japanese festival for children aged three, five, and seven), and have kept it stored at home since. Upon inspection, I didn't find any scratches, damage, or stains, but there was a spot on the box where the color had transferred, about 2 millimeters in size. The larger kanzashi (hair ornament) has bells attached to the ends of the dangling ornaments, and they made a very cute sound every time they swayed.
