Paiste Dark Energy Mark 1 20-inch ride cymbal, weight 2.36kg. I purchased this cymbal used. I've only taken it to the studio twice. There are no cracks or chips. There is a slight distortion on the edge, as shown in the fifth image, although it's a little difficult to see in the photo. I've included the best photo I took. I don't think it affects the sound. The distortion was there when I bought it, so I don't know how it happened or if it's a characteristic of the product. It has a dry sound, suppressing the typical Paiste brilliance. It has a calm, refined tone, but the bell and ping cut through well, making it easy to use.
