Price reduced. This is an old Bizen-yaki Daikokuten figurine. I received it from a senior antique collector a few years ago and am now putting it up for sale. Bizen-yaki is said to be so hard that it doesn't break even if dropped, and as it ages, it takes on a copper-like appearance. Over time, it becomes blackish, looking as if it has been painted with ink, but this is a sign of its age. The last photo is the closest to the actual color. The size is about 10cm wide, about 9cm deep, and about 17cm high, making it a small Daikokuten. It weighs 925 grams. There is a mark, but I couldn't read it.
