Due to age, there are areas where the sides are missing. There is damage to the corner of the bottom. There are also signs of repair. I purchased it from a vintage shop and used it for a while. The damage has not progressed since then. It looks large, but it's light. It's a sturdy basket, believed to have been made about 100 years ago. The frame and handle are made of bent wood.
