This is a very old pair of overalls, estimated to be from around the 1910s. All single-stitch construction Low-back style Bib pocket with a double button It's more of an antique than a vintage item at this point. It has an incredible atmosphere, making you think it came straight out of a coal mine. I spent money and time on repairs (hand-repaired to preserve the original feel, using light-ounce denim fabric from before the 1940s), and had the buttons replaced with old ones, such as locomotive buttons and those from the 1930s from PayDay. The low-back straps are replaced with military suspenders. (I've included a fragment of the original straps.) The fabric around the hips and waist is weak in some areas, but it has been reinforced with patches. Only one original button remains on the waist. The fabric from the thighs to the hem is sturdy, and the hem appears to be original. This item is wearable in terms of both size and condition.
