Soft Shot Put It's not a hard iron shot put; it dents when pressed, so it absorbs some of the impact. I think it can be used outdoors or in a gymnasium. (For indoor use, it's probably best to lay down a mat to reduce impact noise.) At 5.4kg (12 lbs), it's a weight that doesn't quite fit into any specific class, but how about it for practice?
