This is a sample book of cotton fabrics for yutan (covers) for tansu (chests of drawers). It contains 20 fabric samples. Although not all are shown in the image, a variety of fabrics are included. The size of each sample is approximately 19.5 cm x 26.5 cm. They can be used as scraps. These are old items, and some have creases. This is series No. 85 from Yutan Sangyo Co., Ltd., a collection of fabric samples for traditional furniture protection covers produced in Kyoto and other areas. It is mainly a collection of several pieces of cotton fabric, like a catalog for choosing colors and patterns.
