Used about 5 times, and I have not fallen while wearing this helmet. I always wore it over a beanie. In my subjective opinion, it is odorless. There are no stains or tears, but there are some scuff marks on the outside of the helmet from normal use. There are 3mm and 2mm scratches on the outside of the left ear pad. Please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned about these.
