Her works, which feature paintings of delicate flowers and plants, have a charm not found in other kilns. The delicate touch of the painted morning glories, for example, adds gentleness to the vessels. The shapes created with a woman's sensibility exude the elegance unique to a female kiln owner. This picture plate also has a rugged design, but the painting combines feminine gentleness and elegance, and I ended up buying it when I visited the kiln. It would be nice to display it as a decorative plate, or it would be interesting to use it for serving food when guests come over.
