This is a folding towel hanger from Germany, designed for playing house. It's from about 20 years ago. When my children were small, they used it to hang their doll clothes and small handkerchiefs. It brings back fond memories. Even though it's a toy, it's a wonderful item, a miniature version of the real thing. You can actually use it to hang handkerchiefs and small items, not just for play. I've kept it carefully, but with repeated moves and my children grown up and gone, I've decided to offer it to someone who will appreciate it.
