Wooden toy box made in the Kirov region of western Russia. It's quite old, and I believe it's from the Soviet era. My sister, who has traveled the world, purchased it there. The lid doesn't open very wide. Although it hasn't been used much, there are a few scratches on the corners of the top of the lid.
