The fabric, with its colorful granules subtly floating on the surface, features the "tambourine" (2000-01→a/w) embroidery. The fabric base uses material that reuses the thousand paper cranes donated to Hiroshima. This fabric was made by a paper company in Mino City, Gifu Prefecture, which specially thinned the Japanese paper with the fibers of the folded cranes, slit it thinly, and twisted it into yarn at a twisting factory. It was then woven at a textile factory in Ichinomiya City, Aichi Prefecture. It was the first attempt to make fabric with yarn mixed with crushed thousand paper cranes. The gentle expression of the fabric, with its softly floating colors interwoven, is embroidered with "tambourine" in quiet colors. - The fabric is a mid-layer fabric that allows light to pass through. - Due to the natural fibers, there may be neps (knots) and uneven threads in the fabric, but please enjoy them as the texture of the material.
