Thank you for viewing. This is a set of all 15 volumes of the comic "Records of the Grand Historian" by Mitsuteru Yokoyama, plus one volume of "Biographies from the Records of the Grand Historian." Based on Sima Qian's "Records of the Grand Historian," this comic includes episodes not depicted in the concurrently serialized "Hao and Liu Bang" (such as purges and internal conflicts after the unification of the empire). The stories from the Spring and Autumn and Warring States periods are also very interesting. You can also learn the origins of famous idioms such as "to take the lead," "to flog a corpse," "a neck-to-neck friendship," "to sleep on brushwood and taste gall," "to be the beak of a chicken rather than the tail of an ox," and "perfection." There is considerable deterioration due to aging (fading, scratches, etc.), but I believe they are in good enough condition to read. Volumes 4-15 are first editions, first printings.
