I purchased and used this at an authorized Jeep dealership. As shown in the second photo, you need to use a tool to peel off the seal when removing it, so the seal has some scratches. The seal on the unused side is new, so using that one will make it like new. Definitely recommended for preventing license plate theft. Jeep
