This is a German Schlingel wooden toy kitchen sink. It was also used as interior decor in the HugO War store in Jiyugaoka, owned by Masaki. It was about 25 years ago, and there were many plastic toys around, and I couldn't find any play kitchens I liked, but this one was in a photo of a room sent to me by a friend living in France. I wanted it so badly that I asked my friend to import it from Germany, and it came to my house. I purchased the gas oven and drum-style washing machine at the same time. Height 46cm Width x Depth 35x35cm Although it's a toy, it's a wonderful item made entirely of real materials such as brass, enamel, and solid wood. However, it has been used quite a bit since we played with it every day. Embarrassingly, I joined in and played with it often. There are signs of wear and tear, such as scratches and fading due to aging and use, but because it's made of real materials, I, as an antique lover, think it has a nice, well-worn feel, but this is just my personal opinion, so please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned. Masaki had given it a shabby chic look with varnish or something, but this one has the original red knobs and accents painted in blue-gray. I wanted to sand it down to give it an antique feel, but I couldn't find the time and gave up halfway, so it's still like that. I think it would be lovely to paint it in your favorite color. There is deterioration throughout due to aging, such as stains and scratches, but it is very durable and can still be used for a long time. Of course, it can be used as a play kitchen for children, but it is also a wonderful item as part of the interior or for display in stores.
