It is a right-hand wind reel. I own several reels from this series, and generally, the fit between the spool and the reel body (strength during attachment/detachment) feels a bit softer compared to other manufacturers. However, I have never had any trouble with the spool coming off during actual fishing. Also, I don't think you'll hurt your fingers when removing the spool. A neoprene case, instruction manual, and box are included. Operation is good. It has the perfect drag performance typical of Sage. The exterior has no noticeable scratches and is in relatively good condition. This is a used item. Please refrain from purchasing if you are overly concerned about condition.
